I was just thinking I have several web sites I check every day at breakfast and some others somewhat regularly throughout the day, and I was wondering if I could find some new sites to check out by seeing what you guys look at beyond DBR?

Here's my top 5 list:

Drudgereport.com (http://drudgereport.com/) (A little right of center, but will link to the stories of the day)

BassFan.com (http://bassfan.com/default.asp)(Good site for keeping track of Pro Bass fishing).

Inside Carolina Board (http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?S=78&F=1410)( I don't have premium, and I never post, but I can see what's up)

Debka.com (http://debka.com/)(A great site for perspective on the happenings in the middle east, from the Israeli point of view. They are a step ahead of any US middle east news media and offer more detail)

SportingNews.com (http://www.sportingnews.com/) (can find out about any sport, I especially like Decourcy's hoops writing, and they are my sponsor too:)

Hmm, top 5... Well, according to my browser info:

The DBR, obviously.

Tanga.com (http://www.tanga.com), to check for the daily deal on new boardgames.

CtrlAltDel (http://www.ctrlaltdel-online.com/), to see the comic and get inside news on video games.

Cnn.com (http://www.cnn.com), to grab some headlines before hitting the gym in the morning.

Above the Law (http://www.abovethelaw.com), my guilty pleasure legal gossip column.

Cool. :) What's bizarre is that I had no interest in ATL while I was with Skadden. Since leaving the firm, I've developed a greater appreciation for it. I guess it makes me feel a little more plugged in, like I'm still a "real" lawyer.

Ok, time to 'fess up.

The DBR is a big part of my life, so yeah, I come over here everyday. Ok, I said it.

Hit the kiteboarding websites: www.flexifoil.com, www.ikitesurf.com.

Hit a lot of financial websites and in general, read a lot of financial information.

Some interesting stuff, keep them coming! The more off the wall the better.

I guess I'm late to the facebook party. I have an account, but have never used it. I must be missing something from the popularity I see here for that site. I'll have to look into it more...
