Anybody else just see Jamie Spatola on NBC-national news?
They were doing a segment on why pregnant women need to be vaccinated for H1N1 and lo and behold, we see Chris and Jamie in a doctor's office, with Jamie discussing the importance of said shot.
Duke medical center was ID'd and Chris had on a Duke b-ball polo shirt. But no mention of her rather famous father.
Interesting.

Speaking of TV and Duke, ESPNU is running a Duke commercial over and over again today.
It's just a tour guide leading a tour of Duke's campus with quotes like:
"Elton Brand once ate a sandwich here"
"Carlos Boozer used to walk to class through this arch with a backpack full of weights."
Good Stuff.

That's hilarious... I like it. The campus looks good and also totally empty.

Except weren't they filming near the new archway near Bostock Library.... meaning it wasn't there when Battier or Boozer or Laettner were there? Accuracy people!

Well the first place he points out (Social Sciences) is correct, but off camera. Laettner may have had courses there. I don't believe that the rest of the places are right, although JJ was around about the same time.

Well, looks like he's pointing at the arch behind him, and Soc Sci would be clear across the quad.

Did anyone besides me notice the Blue Devil logo on the wall in the gym in the video on that great game by Jason McElwain. I guess his high school team was the "Blue Devils". The neatest thing was the easily identifiable Duke floor chair also in the background a little later on. What a great kid for Duke to be identified with and vice versa.

Back on topic - here's the video link for the NBC news story on H1N1 vaccine:

Back on topic? What are you, a trouble-maker?
FWIW, this is longer than what ran on NBC. I'm sure having that Duke shirt on provides a subliminal recruiting advantage for Duke. :)
