Hi all,

I'm a 2009 Duke grad trying to get the word out about my new iPhone / iPod touch game, Space Rush. Julian was kind enough to link to me on the front page, but I thought I'd post here as well! :D

It's a simple but addictive game -- I think you'll all love it. Please check it out and let me know what you think!

The full version is $.99 in the App Store, and has online high scores and achievements: http://itunes.com/apps/spacerush

There's a free Lite version out, too: http://itunes.com/apps/spacerushlite

Thanks for taking a look!

GO DUKE!

Very neat! Myself and another Duke grad are going to be releasing our first game for the XBOX in a few months, so it is fun to see other Duke grads making games!

Any chance it'll be for the ZuneHD as well? :)

That's awesome -- for Xbox Live Arcade?

Alas, no. (No App Store. Too bad.) The Zune HD does look pretty amazing, though.

Well, there is one, but right now, I understand it's only for internally-developed Apps. ;) According to recent press articles, it will come, it will come....

In the meantime, there is the new Windows mobile app store.

Cool-looking game!

Sorry for threadjacking; yes, for live arcade. He actually is a member of one of the biggest games development teams in history (no names, sorry) but this is our first one together, and his first without his whole team.

I'll post more another time, don't mean to threadjack... anyone gotten to play Space Rush yet? What is the premise of the game?

I bought it and it's great. It's addicting and definitely worth the $.99. the premise is that you are a ball and have to fall through the holes in the individual walls as the screen scrolls. you control the ball using the accelerometer. Here is a video (http://vimeo.com/5690156) of the game play.

Thanks Joel. Yep, that about sums it up. It's based on Falldown, a popular game for the TI-83 calculator (all I did in my high school math classes was play Falldown, so I wanted to pay tribute with this game).
