Well, we chanted to his family that we wanted one more Nelson and K has recently taken the old adage "Duke is a family" to another level (see- Plumlee, All of them).

Wow. They look nothing alike....;) Anyway. The Nelson's seem to have one hell of a blood line.
At such an early age he seems to have a solid frame. It is a long way down the road from where DN2 now stands, but I would be surprised if this is the last we hear about him.
Elite Camp 2010?

He's in the class of 2011, so it's not that far down the road. FWIW, he's a 2-star prospect on scout.com and a 3-star prospect on rivals.com. Rivals reports one scholarship offer so far, from Loyola Marymount.

Even if he isn't the caliber of player we are looking for, it is good to see that he is doing well.

Mr. Nelson probably wouldn't mind the choice of a West Coast school! He made the trip from California to Durham an amazing number of times to watch DeMarcus play.

Darius is ripped.
DeMarcus was one of the most ripped players duke ever had coming in as a freshman. Maggette was also.

There's also Ramon Eaton, a highly regarded small forward playing on the same HS team, who is a cousin to the Nelson boys.

With limited scholarships available, including an outstanding one to Quincy Miller (another 4/3 in the 2011 class), it would seem highly unlikely that Eaton will receive a scholarship offer from Duke. Perhaps, he can find a scholarship at Stanford. Eaton is a player that's been on the recruiting radar for quite some time. Other players have just surpassed him in recent years.
