Although I didn't get in to the actual game, I got to watch the players shoot around in the morning and took some pictures.

Hey, nice work! How many seats are there (roughly) for spectators?

08-25-2009, 07:09 AM
Maybe about 500 at Rucker, and they said about 1500 inside the gym. If you go next year you don't need to show up really early like we did, get there about 3 and you'll get a good seat.

I think I need to change my avatar. Thanks for the pics. Was J. Will unvolved with the event through his work with ESPN or did he seem to be more of a spectator?

Williams was there for the ESPN broadcast. But before the game was supposed to start at Rucker, he went around shaking hands and talking to a bunch of people including some of the players. He looked like he was having a good time and was definitely there to spectate as well as do the broadcast. Not sure if he went in to the gym where the game was actually played since apparentely they didn't even get the cameras in.

Hey, Mike, he might even have pictures of PSU defender Mark Rubin knocking the ball free from Tyrelle Pryor in the key game at the Horseshoe last year?

You remember the play, I'm sure. :)

You'll get your chance in Happy Valley this year. I think PSU and tOSU are the cream of the crop, at least in the conference.
