So, I was at a officials' training clinic this morning in Sterling, Virginia. As we're going through drills, I look up at the wall and lo and behold there is the #55 jersey, belonging to Billy King, in the rafters. It hadn't dawned on me that Park View High School, where the class was located, was the same Park View where King graduated from.

It was a simple, but very proud moment.

Yep. I lived less than two miles from Park View for 10 years, until I moved a few miles away back in 2003. People still talk about Billy King - and he graduated 23 years ago...
