This is a big addition for Duke, Offensive line is the most important part of the offense, no question.

Good news indeed for Duke and young Mr. Tomlinson.

I saw on another writeup that he had 24 scholarship offers, including one from the Ohio State University; offensive line is certainly a priority area for the Blue Devils, and this is an important piece.

Coach Cut and his staff are doing a great job.

If Coach Cut and his staff keep this up, it won't be long before everybody will be as optimistic as Ozzie. I've always been pretty close, anyway!

Love it. Listed as a 3 star recruit, but as several coaches has said and players have gone on to prove, what you see in the recriting process is often outshined by production once in a program. Very nice pickup for the Devils.

The star rankings are much less important than in looking at where the rubber really meets the road -- which other schools are offering scholarships to players that come to Duke.

Landing a player who has offers from Ohio St., Illinois, Michigan St. and Tenn is extraordinary for us.

Coach Cut is doing an amazing job in recruiting, a far cry from the days when the schools we most often seemed to be "battling" were Buffalo, Furman and Western Carolina.

Coach Cut just beat out Ron Zook in his own backyard.

That's awfully impressive.

Huge get for the staff.

a couple of things, we are recruiting better, but it was not uncommon for Duke to land players with many big time offers as recently as the 1980s, and quite common in the Murray days. VO is an example of an even more highly-rated player picking Duke over many big-time programs more recently.

Tomlinson is a good student and interested in medicine. Targeting the smarter kids among the top prospects with a national focus and we will land more excellent prospects like him, increasing our talent levels, while at the same time improving academics.

excellent get for Duke.
