Surprised I had not heard more about this on the boards/DBR.
I know that the Knicks are going hard after Sessions and Duhon maybe out of the door soon, but it would be great to see Jason lace them up for a comeback. Definitly one of my favorite Dukies of all-time.

You haven't heard more about it because the Jason Williams the Knicks signed is a white guy who went to Florida.

Correct me if I am mistaken, but I believe the Jason Williams they are talking about is white who went to college at Florida. He was on the Miami Heat's championship team a couple years back.

Poor Jason (our Jason).

As, as Brill points out also, the Florida Jason Williams is not the worst Jason (Jayson) Williams to get mixed up with.

Remember also that our Jason is legally named Jay Williams now. I will enjoy watching Jay on ESPN as much as I enjoyed watching him in a Duke uniform.

That's not exactly the story behind the whole Jason to Jay thing. When our Jason Williams was being drafted, I think his advisers, the media, or a combination of the two started referring to him as "Jay". There was never any legal name change.
I think there was an interview somewhat recently that went over this, but I can't find it.

As much as I love Jay as player, he is not much of a TV guy. I hate to admit it but so often Hubert had to carry the segments they did together.
