I'm extremely excited that Kyle Singler will be in Durham next year, but I'll save the accolades and NBA draft projections until I've seen him in action against quality collegiate competition. This time last year I was excited about Gerald Henderson and Lance Thomas, but Jon Scheyer ended up being the impact Freshman. There is just so much we do not know about these young men - like Gerald's exercise induced asthma. While I expect Kyle Singler to be the impact Freshman for the 2007-2008 season, you just never know how things are going to turn out.
