They are all 50/1 longshots to win the nationally televised celebrity golf championship (http://dailytribune.com/articles/2009/07/05/sports/srv0000005760373.txt) in a few weeks.

In the linked article, Shane admits to being a 19 handicap and it seems he needs some work off the tees:

He generally keeps his driver in the bag and tees off with his three wood, sending the ball on a right to left flight that has to be seen to be believed.

"I call it the 'Battier Hook,'" he said.

"Most times I aim it over the next fairway and try to bring it back with a little draw, at least I call it a draw. Some would call it a controlled hook."

Among the other goodies in the article... Shane plans to prepare for the Edgewood Tahoe course by playing it in video games so he gets to know the lay of the land. He also admits that he likes Karaoke and his favorite song to sing is "My Humps" by Black Eyed Peas.

My first thought when reading your thread title was, "Who are three people who have never been in my kitchen?" Cliff Clavin on Jeopardy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=botdmsQilnU) was my favorite Cheers moment, ever.

Back to the topic at hand, Shane playing in the celebrity golf tourney is pretty cool. Hopefully, he gets paired with Charles Barkley so that he will look like a pro.

Also your sig lines are usually pretty funny, Jason, but this one might have a little more double entendre than you intended :D

Thanks Jason. Might have to have make it out there again, though I was just there for the 4th and stayed not a 5 minute walk from the course, which looks to be in great shape.

Hmmm ...

Heidi might have something to say about that

BTW, Heidi was picked 6th in one man's draft of NBA WAGs, just ahead of Grant's wife Tamia, and ahead of Mehmet Ocur's wife (a former Miss Turkey, LaLa Vazquez, and Gabrielle Union. (Who says Duke guys don't do well as pros?)

Besides, Fergie is getting a bit scary looking. I'd stick with the Michigan girl!
