To all the folks who offered up suggestions for our San Francisco trip way back when, thanks much. We covered more ground in a week than I thought possible, and luckily for me I got tons of images from the trip. Alcatraz at night was great, Yosemite was beyond awesome, and the city of San Francisco itself was an artist's dream. I killed my family walking them everywhere, they scowled at me every time a cable car went past. But I lived 4 years walking the streets of DC, and I like to take the time to enjoy what I'm seeing. Stinson Beach (per CathyCa) was an unexpected surprise, and all of that highway is great. We touched a little bit of Napa, but just driving. I've got my favorite photo (well one of them, lots of my images will remain photos only) to share, and my first two paintings. Thanks again for the suggestions, our trip was the one my family will remember forever, and that's what I was hoping for.

The paintings are great - thanks for sharing. The San Francisco Bay area is a fantastic place with lots to see and do. I've lived in Vallejo twice and while Vallejo itself is nothing to write home about the Bay area in general is a wonderful place.

Vallejo = Hometown of one Demarcus Nelson. You can always write home about that.:D

Latest painting, also from Muir Woods. This is a big one, 30" X 22" unframed.
