thanks gotham. Very interesting to see Kenny Boynton on that list but no other incoming freshman (at least that I recognized...some of those names I didn't recognize). Maybe its an age thing, but how could KB be invited to tryout and not Derrick Favors, for example? Must be a reasonable explanation...maybe the coaches want those guys on campus by then for summer classes/workouts?? And I imagine they are going to expand the tryouts, as they only have 15 kids so far...maybe thats what zags meant by "confirmed." Perhaps they have other other outstanding invites...

One big-name player that won't be at the trials is Derrick Favors, the highly touted incoming freshman at Georgia Tech. Head coach Paul Hewitt said Friday that Favors will be in summer school, and that he chose to work on his game on campus instead of playing USA Basketball this summer.
