I think that is George McAfee of the '39 Iron Dukes and later, the Chicago Bears and then McAfee Oil Co. in Durham.

I know this is kind of cheating, but I had to try anyway. Right clicking the photo identified it as "Clair Bee", namesake of the award that Coach K won in 2004.
Sorry - and I hope I didn't cheat and still get it wrong :)

I just google searched Clair Bee and that is the pic that shows up. Very smart though.
