Yeah, I had heard we would be in. That is exciting to head back to MSG. I'll be there.

And we'll probably also play a late December game at either the Garden or Meadowlands too. At least I hope so.

Sweet! Tickets will probably be easy to get for that, too.

Honestly, I would rather have the rematch in the NCAAs with both teams in vintage form as serious title contenders. I hate to be so vindictive, but I would like to hurt them (not literally), not just take a game in the pre-season NIT.

From what I can remember, we are 2 and 2 vs. UConn in the NCAA tourney with the winner doing no worse than finishing National Runner-up. I'm all for a NCAA rubber match.

I would predict the exact opposite if UConn makes it to MSG. Unless you're an Iron Duke, you'll have to watch the public ticket sale very closely to get in the door.

Also participating are Coastal Carolina and UNC-Charlotte. I would expect to see both of those teams in Cameron.

Andy Katz says here (http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?entryID=4095873&name=katz_andy) (scroll to the bottom) that Duke and Gonzaga are in talks about playing at MSG on Sat Dec 19th.

Gonzaga loses Pargo, Downs and Heytvelt, but they still have Daye, Gray, Bouldin and Goodson and should be a top 25 team.

I've sold tickets to various venues in and around NY for a few years now. It will be a popular ticket, but I would expect availability.
