It's been two season since the players rebounding on free throws have been pushed up the lane one spot. Does anyone know if there are any statistics out there that have calculated the percentage of missed free throws rebounded by the defending and shooting teams before and after this change? It would seem logical to think that the defending team would have a better chance of grabbbing the boards, but different people were speculation on different effects when the rule was first announced.

That's an interesting question. I'd have to believe that the defending team should have gained a big advantage, but it would be interesting to see if that actually played out.
