Is it just me, or is anyone else in the Durham area getting these stupid tornado updates instead of basketball coverage? Unless my life is in mortal danger, please just let me watch basketball!

Well quite honestly, CC'11, I was glued to WRAL from about 6 pm until 7:45, watching the tornadoes moving up from Fayetteville right along I-95 to Dunn, Benson and ... moving just west of Smithfield before they broke up. I was actually doing my Friday night thing at the CCJC http://www.ccjohnstoncounty.com/ between Four Oaks and Smithfield and >1/2 miles west of I-95, wondering if I'd eat my steak before the tornado snatched it, and my Bud Light, away from me. So just because the potentially lethal weather wasn't heading directly at you, doesn't mean the TV stations shouldn't be doing their wall to wall coverage for the viewing area. I was very greatful they were. At least they were doing a split screen where you could see the game action on part of the screen. And if you have digital cable, you could watch the games uninterrupted on cable channels 1051 and 1052.
