Wasting time until the game and perusing the Duke Notes from yesterdays game:
Kyle Singler became the 59th player in school history to score over 1,000 career points with 10 points against Maryland.
It is only the second time in school history the Blue Devils have had four players on one team with 1,000 career points. The only previous team with four players over 1,000 career points was in 1985-86 with Johnny Dawkins, Mark Alarie, David Henderson and Jay Bilas. The four current players who have scored at least 1,000 points in their career are Jon Scheyer (T-36th, 1,279), Gerald Henderson 40th, 1,191), Greg Paulus (41st, 1,185) and Kyle Singler (59th, 1,004).
As Johnny Carson would say, I did not know that.
