Would you want to end your college career on the year KU has had? It doesn't help your draft stock to be a great player on a crummy team. Unless you are THE player, like Curry is to Davidson, I think it can only improve his NBA value for Patterson to have another year to show his worth.
Would have been interesting to see him at Duke instead.

You are assuming he would have been as good at Duke as he has been at Kentucky. He could have been better and perhaps would have left already or much worse, due to better competition. You just cannot be sure.

Good for Patterson, better for UK.

Just a small note, but KU = Kansas, UK = Kentucky.

Or, you could say we luckily didn't get a booger eater (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h1tIoqzWH8I).

Maybe it is small and childish of me, but I have to admitt that every time UK loses, a little smile comes to my face thinking about the regrets that are probably in Patterson's mind.

This is kind of a surprise given the weakness of the upcoming draft. But hey, good for him. Wonder what Jodie Meeks' status is?

On Espn Insider,

1-Blake Griffin
2-Ricky Rubio
3 - Greg Monroe (ouch, that hurts)
22 - Henderson
28 - Patrick Patterson (ouch again)
42 - Singler
54 - Meeks

These rankings do not appear to have been updated in a month or so.
My guess is Gerald's stock is a little higher than this. I hope Duke wins it all this year so we can wish him well in the Draft!

Hi,

You can still wish G well if he decides to go in the draft. G has given us his all. He deserves to have us support him no matter what. I would prefer he stay, but I will support him because he is a Dukie!

GO BLUE DEVILS!
