I got a recorded message saying "this person is not available", but I was able to leave a voice mail. I didn't us any cuss words, but I did threaten to never buy any product advertised on CBS, ever, if we miss the opening tip of our game.

CBS Sports - (212) 975-5230 (http://www.dukebasketballreport.com/forums/../articles/?p=26819)

by DBR, March 6th, 2009 | Main (http://www.dukebasketballreport.com/forums/../articles/?cat=1) | For those who want to complain about the lousy scheduling Sunday, you can call CBS Sports at this number: (212) 975-5230. We urge Duke and UNC fans to call, because they’re essentially promising that, even in North Carolina, should the the Missouri Valley Conference Championship run late, they’ll be offering you the last six timeouts and last twelve free throws of that game, which means we won’t get very much of the first half of Duke-UNC at all.
Please take a couple of minutes and dial in. There wasn’t even a menu when we did.

I did my civic duty and told them to carry the entire Duke/UNC game. Told them that NO ONE in NC is interested in that game and that if they dont, they would have a fiasco similar to Hedi on their hands...

Only in our case the its inversed, they need to cut away from that game and go TO the more important one.. at least in NC.

If you live in the Triangle, call WRAL as well. 919-821-8555. The switchboard transferred me to some lady named Annette, who didn't answer either but I left her a voice mail too. In a second phone call, I found out she is programming, so she's the right person - fill up her voice mail! I asked if they would put the start of our game on one of their digital channels, or better yet, move the other game to the digital channel and leave our game on channels 5 and 255 (HD).

I'll have to find out who the person to talk to in Greensboro is and give them a call.

I called as well and was placed in voice mail. I emphasized the nation-wide interest in the Duke-UNC game and that intelligent programming would not call for 2 hour slot for a 2 1/4 hour game.

Hope it helped.

I'll have to find out who the person to talk to in Greensboro is and give them a call.

This is the number on the WFMY web site: Phone: 336-379-9369
For email: news@wfmy.com

It can't hurt to call and email.

Just a short time ago, I emailed WFMY in Greensboro using the the email address on their web site. I got this answer in less than 15 minutes. It's great news for folks in the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area.

Thanks for your email about the Duke/UNC game this Sunday. While there is another game scheduled from 2-4pm, I have been assured by CBS that they will switch WFMY to the Duke/UNC game at 4pm to catch the beginning of our game.

Again, thanks for emailing us and for being such a loyal fan!

For anyone in the Portland area, 1080 The Fan is going to have the Duke Network broadcast of the UNC game from ISP as they did the first one. Use it if they join late or the TV call is inferior, as it will no doubt be.

The MO Valley Tourney is being held here in St. Louis (they're calling it Arch Madness). Somehow I think I'm stuck with watching the end of the MO Valley Championship Game.

There's also a CBS Sport-sponsored site (http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/messages/chrono/13590669/0/0/13590730) that allows individuals to post their grievances and is allegedly monitored by their management.

I, too, want to see the first part of the game, but remember in past games covering many years, it is the end of the game when CBS cuts away, so suggest that this also be included in the voice mail/email communications.
