BleacherReport.com looks at the classics like BoSox-Yankees, Ohio State-Michigan, Lakers-Celtics and then says there is no question that Duke-UNC is #1. (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/133731-why-duke-unc-basketball-is-the-greatest-rivalry-in-all-of-sports/show_full)

Great article, Jason. Thanks.

I, too, would have to agree with the author's position. It is well reasoned and obviously correct! :D

Interesting sidenote:

In the picture at the top of that article, they managed to call a foul on Lance for touching I-hate-Hans.

Actually, that photo is of the same play in which Kyle got called for the technical for the elbow to the jaw of Hansbrough.

The officials called a jump ball, but as you can see from that photo the two people with joint possession are both on the same team!

G was standing open right in front of Kyle. I wonder if Lance hadn't tied up the ball whether Kyle could have simply flipped it up to G.

I had thought I was making a joke, but by God, you're right!

*grumble grumble* ..... stupid officials .... *grumble grumble*

One fact we can discern from Hans's facial expression is that having 235 lbs. land on your knees is not a pleasant sensation.

I actually think the technical was on Daniel Ewing.
