Congrats to Greg! Representing us well! And he's majoring in political science, certainly not an easy major.

Third teamer again like last year. Joins Buckley, Fleischer, Spanarkel, Gminski, and Battier as back-to-backers.

Brian Zoubek was also named to the Academic All-District team along with Paulus. Congrats to him as well.

It was wonderful to see Greg smiling and laughing on the bench as the game was winding down. He was so happy for his team and looked so cute! All the abuse and derision he's dealt with over his four years and he has a last chance to laugh at the twerps and all they "stand" for.
Priceless.

I believe I read something last year that Duke ranks 1st among division 1 programs in number of Academic-All Americans over the past 19 years. Maybe now it's over the past 20? Anybody able to find the stats to support this?

Best I can find....only for data from 2000-2004. Duke not listed among top 14:

Genuine grammar question:
Didn't he become an Academic All-America, not an Academic All-American?

To quote the original goduke link:
"For the second straight season Greg Paulus has been named an ESPN the Magazine Third Team All-America, becoming the sixth Blue Devil to repeat as an Academic All-America."

Where is Wilson?;)
Cheers,
