We only drop to 9 in this week's Coaches Poll. We still have a top-10 team, folks! Let's rally around them for this week's games.

Hard to believe we didn't drop further. I guess it's that media bias working in our favor again.

I don't think we are really a top-10 team right now. Hopefully Thursday can be a confidence-building win because Sunday is going to be damn tough.

Our defense will sort its self out. Hey, last year we faded in late-Feb. early March. This year we still have a chance to get it all back together. The ACC is a whole lot better this year...

Last year we only had Clemson and Wake once during the regular season. This year we get Wake twice, go to Clemson, FSU twice, and VT twice.

That FSU will in Trailorhasse looks alot better now folks.

I assume your first statement is serious, but not your second. I think we benefited from UNC's clear strength, i.e., no shame in that loss; and from recognition that BC, for all its weird loss to Harvard, also beat UNC away, and is a tough team.

But more than that, and even though I'm a little surprised we didn't drop to 10-11, I suspect we didn't drop further because few teams below us have done particularly well recently. Indeed, I'm surprised Louisville didn't drop further, given the 33-point drubbing by ND, itself in a long slump. How explain Louisville staying (?) at #5?

My mistake on Louisville. On rereading, I see they did drop from 5 or 6 to 7.
