K was born February 13, 1947. May all your wishes come true! :D

Also, Happy Birthday to Arnie, who has been known to deliver a birthday cake to Coach K to celebrate both of their birthdays!

I can't believe someone hadn't started this thread already. Hope it has better mojo than the last thread I started ;)

He can be forgiven if last year he wished for a gold medal, but this year the wishing needs to be focused on tourney success!! (Success is adequate, championship even better).

Coach, here is hoping you a great birthday and we really appreciate all that you have given to Duke. It is amazing what has been accomplished under your leadership and I say the best days for Duke and you are still ahead of us!
GO FOR IT AND THANKS.

Let us hope Coach doesn't live on Dean time -- Dean retired at age 65, I believe.

I don't think we have to worry about that, however:)

When the time does come, it is going to be like a death in the family. I don't mean to trivialize an actual death in the family, but it will be an incredibly sad day. Celebratory in a way, but also very sad.

I will choke up when it comes, that is for certain.
