It will be a test of UCONN to see how they react. Lots of teams will have big time players this time of year. The true teams just adjust. Duke has done it both well and badly in the past.

This makes their road much tougher. It definitely brings them back to the pack.

Carolina is now the clear favorite. No more hiding out behind the Huskies, who have the worst of all ESPN bias and get pumped up huge whenever they do anything correctly (though this team has been rounding into very formidable form). Not us, not the Holes. The Four-Letter loves UConn due to proximity. It would have been funny to see how Duke would have been raked over the coals for a team laptop thievery ring....but that was years ago. I am still getting over 04.

Seriously, though, it is time for UConn to deal with adversity. Not always their best trait. Too talented to drop too far, though. Pitt has to like their chances in the Big East a bit better, though.
