Not much to say here after a tough loss, except that there were some interesting results -- both positive and negative. Duke actually did quite well when Paulus and Smith were in together, for instance, which hasn't been the case for much of the year. Meanwhile, one of our best lineups all season (Smith-Scheyer-Henderson-McClure-Singler) got outscored 14-2. Sometimes, this stuff doesn't come down to anything more than the point in the game where the guys happen to be on the court. Anyway, on to the numbers ...

Individuals
Brian Zoubek 22-24 (-2)
Greg Paulus 61-64 (-3)
Nolan Smith 51-55 (-4)
Kyle Singler 77-83 (-6)

Geralds numbers were indictitive of his 2nd half play. He shot poorly and had 4TOs. I guess the question is where do we go from here? Our offense played better but our defense was very bad. This was caused by our play against lawson. He set the table for the heels and they responded. Next Play. go Duke!
