I know...i know rankings don't matter in early February, but wow we only fell 1 or 2 spots. I was expecting much worse after the thumping at Clemson.

Voters memories apparently only stretch back 1 game or so... Clemson actually dropped after beating us by 27 and losing to a now ranked FSU team in a close game

Wake, Clemson, Xavier, and Marquette all lost...
That probably helped our position out somewhat.

I too thought we would drop lower but when you look at the teams near us, its hard to make a strong case that any of the teams behind us really deserve to be ahead of us.

I don't think we can play the "we don't get no respect" card this week! I think Duke came our very favorable given the week they had.

i just figured they wanted to keep Wednesdays story line a little better. But who needs a better story line than DUKE vs. Carowina at 9.
