Has it been around for a little while & I just haven't noticed? I'm seeing the "Interactive" crawl at the top of the screen for the first time during the MD - BC game just now.

I absolutely HATE it as I don't like movement on any screen (PC or TV) besides the movement on the court.

What do others think? And, do you think this is here to stay? (god I hope not).

Besides the movement issue, the comments are absolute drivel and I can't help myself ... it's so hard NOT to read them. Jeez, let's just fill the screen with inane fan comments while the game's barely visible behind the text.

Thanks for listening and I really am interested in what others think.

It rivals the Fox football robot in absolute inaneness. I really am having a tough time trying to picture the meeting where executives gave this the green light.

It is possibly the worst thing ever. At first I thought, it was breaking news about some huge issue. The movement is distracting and please keep the inane drivel to the comments section on the website.

Hate it.

It's one of the worst ideas to come out of the Worldwide Leader recently.

Yeah, this was absolutely annoying. I just provided them some "feedback" with that message. Can't we just watch the game.

Sheesh.

I think it is a bad idea as a general matter, but I had to say I thought the comments from disgruntled Maryland fans were hilarious as Maryland melt down against BC.

Watching ESPN Interactive helps me understand why Elvis shot his television.

The ESPN forums are populated with the worst mongoloid mouth breathers this side of IC (honestly probably worse) whose idea of a great sports discussion is comparing the magnitude of "alternative lifestyle" exuded by one team or player versus another. Before, Id have to go there on purpose to be subjected to this, now ESPN in its infinite magnanimity has decide bestow this thought provoking discourse to all viewers. I could probably litigate
