Attention Durham (and Raleigh?) TWC customers

ESPN2 is now in HD on channel 289(in Durham). Just in time for Basketball season:rolleyes: sheesh, it only took 2 years of complaining to get it:D

Yes! Thanks for the heads up! Nice of TWC to let us know (they haven't). I got it in Smithfield on 289, and it is not scrambled.

What is also interesting is that 290, ESPNHD, was also not scrambled/subscription only. It has been part of the HDnet package, which I don't subscribe to (the rest of the package (291-295) is not available free now). I wonder if this is an introductory thing for both or permanent? I just checked their website and they still say 290 is part of the subscription package, and no mention of ESPN2HD being available. I guess we are on the leading edge of technology here!

wow, you just now got ESPN2HD? yet another reason why I'm glad I gave TWC the boot for DirecTV. You'll probably get ESPNU and NFL Network sometime after 2010. . .
