I took in the 7th Annual Martin Luther King Invitational today and there were some great performances, namely Kelly going for a career high 47 points in a loss.

Plumlee paced Christ School with 24, but Oak Hill was too much. Mo-Mo Jones scored 34 for the winners and he is headed to Virginia Tech.

There were some good 2011 kids playing as well, including super athletic Deuce Bello from Westchester Country Day.

Here is a Kelly piece - http://bluedevilnation.net/?p=1630

Wow! Congrats to Kelly.

It's too bad the Greenies lost. I was hoping for an undefeated season.

Kelly appears to have bulked up considerably since the last picture I saw of him. Encouraging that he can put on that much weight that fast without, apparently, losing his shooting touch.

Seriously... he looks a LOT bigger. As you said, I'm also glad to see him put on some muscle and maintain his scoring prowess.

If so, I'd say the result and MP2's performance is still encouraging.

He's still a long ways from being a Singler. He probably won't graduate from Duke until 2013, so times in his favor.

Northern Guilford is pretty good this year. My high school team went there to play soccer and their whole school is brand new, it looks like a college. On a side note we beat them twice. :D
