First, shoutout to Greg Anthony for talking about plus/minus stats during the game. It's only going to be a matter of time before this stuff is as common as OPS and such in baseball.
Next, it's always nice when the plus/minus numbers correspond with observations. So, congrats to Miles Plumlee and Greg Paulus, in particular, with strong games. Not much else to note, other than the small lineup didn't post quite as impressive numbers as I expected watching the game, but I think part of that was the time/situation -- they were in for a lot of the spread action, when we were managing possessions and denying threes. Anyway, on to the numbers ...

I'm curious who was in when Monroe was on the bench; I wouldn't be surprised if that had more to do with the overall +/- than our own substitutions. Their game changed a lot when he was out.

Nice numbers from Greg. He played with intensity - I saw a couple walk-by elbows from him.

Interesting that only three lineups were positive - and two had Plumlee.

VERY INTERESTING! Don't know how I missed this thread but great analysis. Our best answer when Monroe is in the line-up seems to be Singler/Plumlee, but even then it was -1. Some posters wondered why Zoubek didn't get more playing time, but the above suggests that Plumlee perhaps should've gotten a lot more.

I realize we can't take too much from the +/- of a single game, but it looks like we were quite lucky Monroe made a few freshman mistakes and got saddled with four fouls. I wouldn't want to play Georgetown again in the NCAA tourney...
