Is anyone else bothered that Bob Knight and Billy Packer will be analyzing the NCAA Tournament from a sports book in Vegas? Up front I'll fully admit that I'm not a fan of either (especially Knight) and that may color my opinion on this matter. Nonetheless, it seems inappropriate for one of the biggest names in the sport to take part in a production grounded in gambling on 18-22 year olds. If I were ESPN, I would not be pleased with this. This isn't Hammering Hank making pro-football picks. This is the winningest D-1 coach encouraging betting on college kids. Of course, ESPN appears willing to bend over backwards to give Knight whatever he wants (no suit?...really?) so I'm not surprised.
