Coach Dawkins biggest test as undefeated Stanford will have to contain James Harden.

I take it this game is not televised nationally? I was hoping for maybe the U or CBS Sports or FSN. FSN, however, is carrying stupid LeBron James.

Well 13 minutes in, Harden hasn't scored but Stanford still trails 23-14. Looking at the shot data, Stanford is taking far too many two point shots away from the basket, currently 4-10. On the other hand, Arizona State is getting everything in the paint and is shooting 63% from the field so far.

If Stanford can't start defending better, they don't have a shot.

Looks like Stanford caught Duke's shooting bug. 0 for 8 from three so far.

15 layups and dunks for ASU and 5 for Stanford. Far too many easy shots for ASU.

Interestingly, Harden still hasn't scored (although he does have 5 or 6 assists), but Pendergraph has 21 points on 9-11 shooting thus far.

Methinks Herb has the backdoor cut working to perfection tonight. That is of course assuming he's still using the same offense, anyone know?

oh and one more note...

Eric Boateng played 4 minutes in the first half and scored 6 points and grabbed 3 rebounds. Not too shabby.

Is Stanford employing the Loyola defense? Harden is scoreless at half.

I thought he switched to a Flex variation last year, but I don't know if he went back or not.

Stanford going down big time. Tuned in late and ASU was up by 25. Go to bed, folks.

One more unbeaten falls. To me its almost a relief to have lost because I'm not worried about being unbeaten.
