Dickie V not in the HOF

Vitale didn't get voted in the HOF after being nominated for three times and lobbied for by Bobby Knight. That surprises me. I was kinda hoping they'd let him in and then he'd retire peacfully and we'd never hear from him again. Oh well, maybe the fourth time next year will be the charm.

If it would move him into retirement, I'd endorse his candidacy for the Legion of Honor, Commander of the British Empire, and/or the Medal of Freedom.

I think Dickie V lends to the "hate Duke" mentality with the way he would gush about Duke. If I wasn't a Duke fan it would irritate me more than it did. Glad to see he has reigned it in the last few years. Wonder if someone had a talk with him.
