I think the URL says it all:

I wonder if BillyBreen regrets his vote now. :D

I call BS. I've heard Obama mention his iPod so many times during the campaign, including in interviews about Reggie Love. Somebody needs to fact check citypaper.net.

When do you think, if ever, was the last time a U.S. president used a spork?

Do they make spork silverware?

That would be awesome. A presidential spork.

I use my little 8GB Zune at the gym b/c it has a radio tuner - the gym has tv screens, and for each, has an internally-FM-transmitted station to broadcast the sound for that screen. (So, CNN may be showing on one screen, turn to 90.1FM for its sound; ESPN on another, tune to 88.5.) Perhaps the pres-elect was catching up on the news?

It's otherwise pretty hard to mistake a Zune for an iPod...

W, last night. He calls it Air Spork 1, and it has the presidential seal on the back.

Apparently the writer's been getting similar reactions to those of BB:

He does, and he's fighting tooth and nail to keep access to it, but I'm guessing that's a fight he'll lose.

Does anyone want to start a business up with me producing family sets of sporks?

What about high class Silver Sporks for the dining room set?

Unbreakable (similiar to the unbreakable water bottles) plastic sporks for students in dorm rooms?

We get in - produce the best sporks the world has ever seen - and then sell to the first person (the word person in this case could be substituted with idiot or genious) that offers to buy our company... then we split the proceeds...

The world needs sporks.

Especially in a time of a great World Economy Downturn.

The world just can't afford to sit around and watch it's resources go towards the production of Spoons and Forks anymore.

Not when we can combine them into one beautiful instrument.

Think of all the cabinet space that will be spared from that extra row of utensils. People across the globe will now have more room to store more neccesary supplies like boxes of matches and sticks of gum.

Think of all the money taco bell will save due to the end of their spork theft problems.

Someone with some capital please get in touch with me... if your not sure and on edge about it, read my quote down below... if your still not convinced,

the least you can do is to sign this petition

Are you allowed to bring a spork on the plane? Just curious, I have no nefarious intent.

They should have Mork use a spork on an episode. Then it would be Mork and Spork and Mindy. :D

Seems like sporks are inherently funny. Cows are inherently funny.

Eat spam with a spork!

I think you may have some competition out there for your spork business. The titanium spork (http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/tools/8ace/) is already available.

With all do respect, the titanium spork is targeted at campers... and serious campers at that. Any kind of room you can save in a pack is important.

It is not dining room material all though it may be one of the greatest inventions in the last three centuries.

If Obama is using a Zune, I hope it's not a 30GB model. Evidently they died worldwide overnight (http://gizmodo.com/5121311/reports-30gb-zunes-failing-everywhere-all-at-once).

Is this a bug or a feature with Zune?;)

Feature...once you resolve it, let MSFT know.

Your nephew would have been fine with a new Zune - this is only impacting the older 30GB models. (Which MSFT has been updating with new firmware the whole time - not like you have to buy a new model to get new features like some <ahem> other music players.)

A little birdy has told me that the problem has been identified (a supplier's driver didn't handle leap year appropriately), and a fix is upcoming. The other suggestion is just don't turn it on today, Dec. 31; it should work fine tomorrow when the dates are back to "normal."

The only examples I can think of where you needed to buy a new iPod were with the Video and the Touch. Both were clearly new devices with different capabilities. Firmware is always updated for existing devices.

So, I'll assume you were referring to the Creative Zen ;)

I wonder if it'll crash with this year's leap second.:D
