I recently purchased my dad a University of South Carolina Football Vault (http://www.collegevaultbooks.com/Football/SEC/SouthCarolina.aspx#) book. It might be one of the coolest "fan" books I've ever come across. They're made in almost a scrapbook type fashion, and contain reprints of actual bumper stickers, game tickets, booster club stickers, and all kinda other neat stuff!

So, of course, I'm wondering if there's a Duke Basketball book. And, of course, North Carolina is the only ACC school with a book that's been published. But, if you make a request, the company determines which school will be published next by online voting results. Let's vote and force them to make a Duke Basketball Vault. :)

Vote here. (http://www.collegevaultbooks.com/contentPages/Request.aspx?subject=Duke%20Basketball)

I saw the UVA one when I was up in Cville for the basketball/football games this weekend. It's not really my thing (old b&w pics artificially enhanced to color, fake ticket stubs inserted on random pages, etc.), but I can definitely see why folks would be into them.

I saw a Tennessee football vault book last Christmas at a Books-A-Million, and it was pretty awesome. I wanted to buy it, and I could care less about the Vols. Very nicely put together and a lot of cool stuff inside.

I, too, wondered right away if there was a Duke version in circulation. That's sad to read there is not.

I'm also still hoping for a giant college basketball encyclopedia to be made, as there are about a hundred editions for football. I could study that for hours on end.

Anyone ever seen one?

Don't think so. Check it out here (http://www.whitmanbooks.com/default.aspx?SubCatOID=72&page=80).
