I'd say she's 99 44/100 percent mouth. What a little yapper!

Great job by the team all year long and especially nice to end a 29-0 regular season at home with a win over the Heels.

What a great way for our seniors to celebrate their final game in Cameron! I'm so proud. Congratulations to Ali and Lindsey!

Terrific win. Perhaps the best part for me was that it was a sporting event that my five-year-old daughter was actually willing to watch. That's a huge breakthrough in our house. Maybe now I can convince her she'd rather watch the tourney instead of Sponge Bob.

Ivory Latta shot 9 for 37 against Duke in two games [so far]. Less than 25%.

Didn't she also have a bad shooting game against State? What were her stats for the last month?

The little evil person had a bad night or two, the larger evil person makes excuses and hardly shakes hands, and the evil empire goes down again--how great a day.:p

Duke's team is greater than a sum of its parts.

Congratulations to the Duke women on a phenomenal regular season! Odds are that we haven't seen the last of either MD or UNC (given the 2 remaining tournaments), so hopefully we'll celebrate more victories against them this year.

Thank you to DBR for continuing to post information on the women on the front page!

In a disservice to the AP Women's poll, one writer from Salt Lake voted Tennessee as no. 1 instead of Duke, who had been unanimous the previous two weeks. The writer claimed that, based on who they had played and how they won the games, he felt that Tennessee was "coming on" right now. And, you know, the fact that we went to ol' Rocky Top and BEAT Tennessee, and then beat THREE TOP TEN TEAMS OVER THE PAST FIVE OF OUR GAMES to finish the season UNDEFEATED wasn't really impressive as compared to holding off a team not in the top ten at home (and LSU on the road, which was a good win, but...)... Pathetic.

I dragged my wife to an Alumni Club HoopsWatch get-together in Miami (at John El-Masry's place) a few years ago, to a Duke-UConn game where the women were getting their asses handed to them in the first half, then they shrugged off the jitters and came roaring back in the second half, only to come up short at the buzzer. Geno said that if that game had been five minutes longer, Duke would have won. My wife didn't particularly like basketball before that game, but was hooked from then on, and the women's team took that second half performance and built on it year after year until now when they look up to noone, and are intimidated by no team.

I was a classmate and casual friend of Chris Moreland's, and have been a fan from those days, and it is quite a ride!

Ooh, but she annoys me.

GO BLUE DEVILS!

It is amazing that this team went to Maryland then had to turn around and play UNC- after a week layoff. Going undefeated is one thing but what they had to do in this last week is nothing short of amazing

It was a great day of basketball. Our men won, Carolina's men lost, and our women beat Carolina's women!

It was the kind of day that made being married to a UNC grad tolerable.
