It looks like his basketball career is over. Part of his right foot was amputated due to a MRSA (methicillin-resistant Staph aureus) infection:

Thats honestly terrible, not only for any prospective BB career but trying to move around at that size with only 1/2 a foot.

I am so sorry to hear that. I'm sure everyone sends out their best wishes to Kenny and his family. This MRSA thing is pretty scary. Let's hope the brilliant minds at Duke Med can help come up with a solution.

Best wishes, too, for Kenny and family.

Robin Cook has a novel out based on MSRA infections - Critical. Much info in the Cook style. It is a very scary infection.

Man that is bad.. Had looked foward to hearing more from Kenny on the court this year.Thoughts and prayers to Kenny and family. I know a few people that have had it and it is some really bad stuff. A friend's son nearly died with it and one of my coworkers spent several weeks in the hospital and nearly lost his finger. Really scary stuff

That's crazy news. I wish him the best in his recovery. I hope he's able to play ball again.
