Is Re'quan Boyette out for the year, will he be back this year, and can or will he be redshirted? Thanks for info.

He is eligible for a redshirt.

He definitely is out for the Miami game.

He has not been officially ruled out for the rest of the season.

His return this season does not seem imminent. The later this goes, the more likely a redshirt becomes. And it's getting late.

I think it wouldn't be smart for Boyette to attempt a comeback this year.
He has already missed 5 games, and will miss the 6th game saturday.

He is an exceptional running back, and coming back 100% percent next year would be the best option. He would be with Senior QB Thad, and a young recieving game.

But good luck to him, and his rehab.

It looks like Boyette will redshirt. Most of us new this but this about makes it official. But think about next year when we get Desmond Scott. Our running game should improve by a lot.
