Several points about this:
1) No one catches Tilly.
2) I actually DID win a race this year.
3) I was third worst last week.
4) Mathematically, Tilly has to pick Michael Waltrip, Kurt Busch, and Denny Hamlin for the remaining weeks for me to have any hope of approaching Tilly's tally.:rolleyes:

Nonetheless, this was a lot of fun. We need to do this again next year.

Not enough advantage goes to the winner of races, but that has always been an issue in Nascar scoring. Several 7 or 8 race winners have not gotten the season title.

Edwards loses a lap when he came in with a vibration, leaving just a moment off of staying in the lead lap.

JJ and Smoke are the class of the race so far.

JR blows tire and crashes right side against the wall. He's out. I've lost one of my two B Group drivers.

Yep... no hope of chasing Tilly today, unless R Smith pulls a monster race.

Right now, Smoke and Kyle are racing 1, 2. Joe Gibbs is smiling.

Gordon has made it back to the lead lap. Edwards is racing again after losing about 16 laps with an ignition problem.

So Smoke started fading as his car started going loose. JJ regained the lead with Kyle, but then Vickers started charging. Vickers holds the lead. Biff is in 5th.

Basically, the Chase is all messed up after the top position.

Reutimann is running well in 11th or so. My Group C driver is in 22nd.

Wow. Those were hard hits. Amazing that Travis and Kenseth walked out okay.

The Hans device saved a couple of drivers there.

McCumby and Menard were involved, but are okay and racing.

Duke fan Jeff Burton is in the lead, followed by Red Sox fan, Greg Biffle.

Smoke lost a lap w/a pit violation (entered too fast). Reutimann lost 18 spots with a bad pit entrance/spin. I believe PINK had the same sort of pit violation as well.

Something like 10 cars on the lead lap. JJ is still on the lead lap. Gordon is racing like a mad man ... well, as mad as Jeff Gordon can be.

Really tough to figure out now. Kahne is flying, but so is PINK. Burton may have some gas issues. It'll be close if there's no yellow in the last few laps.

I wound up regaining second place. No one touches Tilly, who won by 6 pts over my selections this week. Tilly's lead would allow her to avoid selections for 1.5 weeks, and STILL be in first.:o

The controversy is what happened in the battle for second place. Just Having Fun wound up selecting in his B Group both Biffle and Jr. Unfortunately, it has not included his selection of Biffle because it says he used up his maximum number of choices this season with Biffle (nine is the max).:eek:
