Jim thanks for the article on Anthony. He was one fine quarterback. I did not know the details concerning his recruitment. When he was drafted by the Packers I was excited for him because I thought he would have a long career in the NFL. If I'm not mistaken he was in the same draft as Troy Aikmen. Of course I told everyone he would be the one to make it big in the Pros. Glad he is with the Duke football program roving the sidelines. Once again thank you for the update on Anthony.

He and I were in the same Freshman class (and dorm). Really nice guy, did a one-man theatrical production in the off-season one year ("A Scarry Point of View" I think), and was a normal college kid aside from being a phenomenal football player. I ran into him at RDU after his fifth year senior season, and asked him whre he was coming back from. He said he had a job interview in DC. It didn't even hit me until later it was probably the Redskins he was talking about. Even then, after that season, I saw him first as a normal person, not an NFL-bound millionaire-to-be.

That photo sure does show a whole lotta hair on his head, though.

Uncle Bill,

The hair gods have not been kind to Anthony.
