Omar Cook, Montenegro National Team

So I'm flipping channels and stop for a minute on the game between Montenegro and Austria on Montenegrin TV.

There's a black guy on the Montenegro team, looks vaguely familiar. Turns out it's Omar Cook. Anyone have any idea how he got Montenegrin citizenship to join the national team?

Omar had offers from several European teams, but Montenegro was looking for a 1 for the national team. He played in Serbia last season.

Is it that easy to get citizenship? At least Kaman had German grandparents. I can't imagine what connection Cook has to Montenegro (besides playing in Serbia last year -- as of 2006, Montenegro and Serbia are separate countries).

Maybe I should try to get a passport before they join the EU....
