Corwin is the host of AnimalPlanet's "the Jeff Corwin Experience." He's a naturalist and an environmentalist.
Last night I attended a lecture he gave here to an audience of about 800 people. It was part of a lecture series that has an eclectic appeal.
Anyway, he was funny and informative. He brought out some exotic animals and spoke engagingly of a number of problems facing wildlife today. If you get a chance to see him live, I'd recommend springing for a few dollars and going.
(And the lead-in film of his mishaps handling wild animals was both funny and frightening. His encounter with a large fer-de-lance snake was really scary.)
