Reggie Love on E:60, Tues 8/19

Didn't see this here on the boards but Reggie Love will be profiled tonight, 8/19, on E:60 from 7-8pm (est) on ESPN2 for his activities with the Obama campaign.

Three interesting things to point out:

1. Like many people here, I always figured a member of that 2001 squad would eventually end up in Presidential politics. But I am surprised it happened this soon, and that it's not Shane Battier.

2. I was amused that the quote "Everybody wants to say they scored on the future president" was attributed to Chris Duhon and not Scarlett Johansson.

3. You could say that Reggie Love had an eye for rising talent early on, aligning himself with Barack Obama back in 2005. But you could also switch those names, creating a very different but equally complimentary statement.

That was a really cool segment. As an Obama fan and a Duke fan, it's a beautiful collision of worlds for me.

Watched this tonight and was impressed with Reggie - representing the University very well. Obama was very complimentary. Didn't really learn anything new though. Good job, Reggie.
