Drew Ginn and Duncan Free - best pair of names in the Olympics so far. Followed rather closely by Twaddle and Bridgewater, literally, they took the bronze, and in the names competition. Twaddle and Bridgewater, could they be anything but a British 2 man rowing crew? Or better yet, should they?

Usually, coaches. They're watching things like stroke rate (strokes per minute), how the crew handles key points in the race (mini-bursts of power usually at the 500, 1000, and 1500 meter marks, plus the final sprint), and scoping the competition in early heats.
