Wow was that 2001 team good! Absolutely amazing starting 5.

That comeback is no doubt among the best in all of sports.

And just think......if Brand and Maggette had not left early, they both would have been on that roster as well. Simply unreal recruiting.

That team was so unbelievable.

I truly hope that, one day, Jason Williams can get back on the court and look half as good as he did in college.

I think that there is an excellent chance that we'll look back at the players on this team in a few years and say some great things about many of them (not to mention the incoming players). K has continued the great recruiting.

For some reason I watch the 01 championship game highlights on my Ipod today, there was some talent on the floor for that game

Clipsfan - you could be right but that team would smoke this years team or last years team. I would bet the 2001 team would win 10 of 10 against either of them.

Anyone have insight into whether the Miracle Minute will be replayed (again) on ESPN Classic?

Is your point that 2001 team is more talented than the teams from the past two years or simply better? If the latter, probably so. If the former, there is simply no way of knowing at this point because both last year's team and this one have been/are far more dependent on freshmen, and that team only used one--Duhon. That's not even including the fact that this year's team is overall much younger than the 2001 team.

Another example of bad karma coming home to roost.
