Just saw this, thought it was interesting. Tom Crean has hired Roshown McLeod:

A Duke "big man" coaching big men? Wow!

It doesn't say he is coaching big men.

Ro was a definite wing player, not really a big man. This is great news! I always thought Ro never quite got the credit for helping Duke recover after the 95 team. Definitely one of the better players on the 97 and 98 squad

Well, it does say:

McLeod will work with the Hoosiers' inside players

I know the Hoosiers' team has been decimated, but I assumed that the "inside" players would be the bigger players.

Given the recent trend of assistant coaching hires, I wonder what recruit Roshown is bringing with him to Indiana  (This is sarcasm, and intended to poke fun at the Baylor stink )

Have the summer programs for high school basketball players stopped? Or does Indiana start early or have some foreign trip planned? The timing is strange as most future assistants wouldn't be made official until the summer programs are over so they would not be subject to recruiting restrictions.

The Hoosiers could be a great gig for Ro. If Crean gets the program back on top, Ro will will be a commodity.

"Crean is expecting McLeod to become a star on the recruiting scene and of immediate interest to Indiana fans is his rumored connection with Derrick Favors and Dominic Cheek, both five-star recruits in the 2009 class. McLeod has worked with Favors on his game in the past and Cheek is from St. Anthony’s in New Jersey, where McLeod attended high school."

Yeah, there seemed to be a lot of comments laced with suspicion in the article that was linked. Is this what all the controversy is about?

Well he's a good guy so regardless Crean made a good choice. When he was here in Atlanta with the Hawks I would see him all the time. We even played So-Com together. He's a big kid so he'll get along well with recruits. He's also very professional so I expect big things.
