This story (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-childressgreece072108&prov=yhoo&type=lgns) is much more interesting to me than whether a high schooler decides to play abroad instead of one and done in college. I wonder if Europe does become a premier destination for players whether this leads to further exodus from the college ranks?

And the worst part for "your Atlanta Hawks" (that's what their announcer calls them) is that they get no compensation.

No draft choices, and possibly a pair of Josh's gone. What an abysmal off-season!

its all about the money.

As it should be. To us it is entertainment. To them it is a living and an opportunity, for a short window of opportunity, for a lifetime of financial security.

The sad thing is so many of these guys blow all that money away in a few years.
