First time I met Bill Brill (@ DiBD’s tent before a football game), he had a big “9F” button.

    He was good people.

Ahhh, yes. Those were the days my friend... He wore that button and the blue beads thereafter. Bill was quite the character, always full of stories. He chose our tent rather than the press lunch buffet. I think the Double Secret Probation Brownies and the Nuts to You Carolina won him over.

It's very hard to miss. There are only 3 things pinned at the top and it's under the one that says FAQ: NCAA Compliance, "9F"?, NBA Dukies I mean it's in the title...

It surprises me that there is anybody here who doesn't know what 9F means.

It’s not actually in the FAQ - it’s in a link in the first post.

Here is the actual link to the exact post with Throatybeard’s manifesto (as posted by OZZIE4DUKE):

We need an update or two for the pocket guide. Add in somthing about LeBron v Jordan and perhaps another dealing with the shape of the world starring Kyrie.

Can't spork you again for a while.

Your words are kind and much appreciated. The guests and their gifts for the menu made the parties!

BTW We always had a cold beer ready for Brill. That was his first requirement.

The real question is which DBR poster(s) is/are trying to make money off the rest of DBR. That shirt has a limited market.

New Bern, NC unless it's a home football game then I'm grilling on Devil's Alley
Per request from Devildeac, here is a painting I did of Bill Brill, Ozzie (in his own 9F shirt) and DD all chatting under our tent on Blue Devil Alley.

    ChatWithBillBrill.jpg

Wow, I painted this 8 years ago. I titled it "Chat With Bill Brill"
Q "Why do you like Duke, you didn't even go there." A "Because my art school didn't have a basketball team."
