Classic Mad Dog.
A sudden, spontaneous freak out by Dan Marino. Love his co-hosts reactions. (He may briefly say the "S" word but for the most part, it's very safe for viewing).
Let's keep this thread going by posting other great meltdowns in Sports primarily!

My only regret was that Jim Everett didn't kill Jim Rome when he had the chance.
This Chris Berman clip was a bit disappointing.
Oh - FWIW I have met Dan Marino in person. VERY nice guy!
No list would be complete without Jim Mora.

we talkin' 'bout practice!
(ok, not really a losing-it moment, but goes with the Mora clip more)
The related videos on the Berman clip gave me some good ones, including this Bill O'Reilly outtake (a little foul language).
Great thread...
I thought Kevin Garnett's head was going to explode on Tuesday night after the Celts polished off the Lakers. Here's an article with the details, including video:

So after that, I stayed up and watched more interviews, figuring a conversation with Stephen A. Smith would finish the job, but alas, someone fetched the dart gun before KG got his turn... He was still basking in the glow and mostly coherent...
And on a tangent, I hate hate HATE the "How does it feel?" question at the end of a sporting event. Is that really the best those sideline TV people can do, or did the FCC pass a rule that mandates such nonsense? I would love it if someone would reply, "Think of the best orgasm you've ever had... This is about 100 times better..."
WARNING!!! Rated R
There's no real video that I know of, but here's a clip of Kasey Kasem absolutely losing it.

Well, perhaps, but still, it was far better than the talking smilies.
Actually, 50 seconds into the clip, if you listen, he says... no wait. My bad. Let's back it up... back, back, back, back, back, back, back... GONE! At the 35 second mark he apologizes and says "Sorry to explode." Apparently he got ticked off because people were moving around in the studio. It was very very rude! I don't blame him one iota. How would you like it if you were trying to anchor a show and people were moving around on the set! C'mon. Don't EVEN get me started here.
Okay, moving forward... He! Will! Go! All! The! Way! ...up to the 1 minute mark, Chris justifiably chastises some of his coworkers, challenging them "No one here has worked on TV before?!"
Hmmm... I wonder if Ivan DeJesus has watched this clip.
On YouTube, I've spent hours looking up coaching rants and I actually have many of them saved as favorites. A couple of my favorites are from the college coaches. Of course, my previous avatar was Mike Gundy so I'll put that one up. Also, I love the audio clip from Dan Hawkins, the football coach at Colorado.
I'm a man!
It's division one football!!!!!!!
Here's a good one from John L. Smith at halftime during a game.
Last one. This isn't a meltdown, but any time Joe Kines talks, it's a minor meltdown.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAH. I love it. I've wanted to break down like this for so long.
Remember when Dennis Green lost it after Arizona gave up a huge lead to the Chicago Bears?
