Al's insights are great.

But my question remains why did we play worse at the end the season than earlier. In January we beat NC State by over 20 points in Raleigh then lost in March in Tampa. We lost our last 4 games and I doubt if Maryland, NC State or VCU has many top 10 players.

Duke did not play with the same defense intensity that they played with earlier in the season. They also got beat back down the floor many times after a missed shots. I don't know why this was but it was evident.
